Where are you headed?

My last question was finding your why… this time the question is Where are you headed?

Are you feeling passionate about something and keep running into something around you that you are finding solutions for, but you see a group of people going around and around the same old mountain and never finding the solution.

You may be a forerunner for a certain cause! A forerunner is a person or thing that precedes the coming or development of something or someone else.

This means change within us, and it also means within the people we deal with and our atmosphere. Sometimes we have to step back from status quo thinking and work on ourselves. We have to find solutions in our lives so we can help find solutions in the lives of others.

It’s not easy being a creator…sometimes people think you are crazy, sometimes people don’t want to follow and sometimes they don’t even understand what you are saying. That’s okay, there will be the ones that need to hear your voice…that are tired of being stuck and want to change.

Insanity is doing things the same way and expecting a different result. Insanity is being stuck and being in a rut. There are so many different “systems” that families, businesses, and churches have. I think one of the biggest mistake most “groups” have is getting stuck in the same old patterns and not being willing and open to the new!!

Sometimes even the “new” is done in the same old way! I am someone that was thrown into change after change after change in my life so it made me comfortable with change and open to learn new ways of survival. Being in a box no longer works for me! I have seen a better way than that!

If you are needing help finding your “why” or your “where” contact me. We can talk about this! Until we’ve blazed a trail, we can’t help another blaze a trail. We have to have a process to follow and a plan or we keep going around that mountain!

We have to do it ourselves!

We have to care about others!

We have to love relationship!

We have to understand boundaries!

We have to be in God’s will and purpose!

We have to be in the right timing!

We can do this!

See you soon!

What’s your WHY?

I remember hearing this question many, many years ago. At the time I really wasn’t sure about my why. I had some thoughts about it, but not real positive what it was.

I knew that when I was raped that I was assured it was supposed to be used for a purpose. In fact, knowing that is what helped me survive and recover from it.

Many traumas that people go through are used down the road to make a mark in this world and help other people. I just didn’t know how to get started.

There were many, many steps along the way. Every step is getting closer. There are times to fall down, there are times that we think we have arrived, only to see that we are back at square one again… not one thing is wasted in the process.

EACH STEP IS IMPORTANT‼️ EACH STEP IS CREATING OUR WHY‼️

We don’t have to have the whole picture at the beginning…we just need to start! Any step that we can take is welcome. There were times that I was surrounded by so much darkness that the only step I could make was to go to a counselor. Yes, working on ourselves is probably one of the biggest, best steps that we can make for our progress!

Usually our thinking and our own mindsets would be exactly what would hold us back! They are not allowed to stay in order for us to move forward! We have to let ourselves be vulnerable and transparent and learn the lessons that we are supposed to learn along the way.

The lessons that cause us to die to the things that we thought we would do and pick up the plans and creativity that we are put on this earth to do! The things that we were put on earth to do are more supernatural than the things we thought we were supposed to do! At least mine have been!

Let’s face it we don’t go through a rape and not change to a different person. We don’t go through divorces and not change to a different person! We don’t walk through dark areas of life and not change into a different person! The thing that I personally learned was that if we make the right choices during that time, we have the authority to conquer those things and to help others do the same!

You can imagine that it has been a battle to get to the place where I have the confidence to open up and let my voice come forth. It also had to be tempered to the place where I didn’t just blurt out everything to everyone and that’s there all of the steps, little by little that I took were so powerful! They changed me from the inside out and gave me power to help others! It’s been hard, but hard is nothing… hard is a good thing! Hard makes it worthwhile!

We don’t need to try to keep people from anything that is hard… that is what makes us or breaks us! That’s where we get to the core of our being!

Step out and start!

It will change you!

It won’t be wasted!

Don’t despise humble beginnings!

You can do it!

See you soon!💜

#Re-Words continued!

Wow!! Things have changed around here!! Much #re-modeling completed! Much #re-storing in my heart and insides too. I will tell you all about these things!!

It all started with my Vision Board at the beginning of the year! Many things that I wrote, I had no clue why I was writing it but it just came to me. There were many #re-words on it! When you think about it, #re means a #re-peat a do-over, and second chance, a new beginning!

We all need that sometimes don’t we? First of all, my kitchen got that:

When we started, we had no idea that we would do this much, but once we took the plunge and started, the creativity started flowing.

Even furniture #re-furbished

All of this furniture used to be just regular wicker furniture with glass tops, my friend covered the cushions to match and Marty painted to boards to #re-place the glass!

We didn’t spend a ton of money, lots of it was done with paint and perseverance. I got lots of ideas and Marty and I worked together making it happen. It was not all easy and some days went slow, but I sincerely believe that because I had written it down on my vision board at the beginning of the year, all the power from God and the Universe were invited to work in our behalf.

My past was not glorious and I come from rape, poverty, and divorce… but I had a belief deep down inside that things would get better and I remember telling my children exactly that, when they were little. Sometimes I thought I was crazy telling them that, but I knew it would eventually happen. I knew there was a special purpose for my life and my stories, and it was to help others.

I have written 2 books now, this is the first, and working on the 3rd.

We are now waiting for the day, June 10th, to be qualified to work with the Healing House Network for #Restoring the Foundations Ministries which happens to be another #Re-word!! Of course that is something that Marty and I need to be doing… helping #re-store people’s lives!! I have to say that there is nothing that I would rather be doing to leave behind my mark in this world!

For far too long, I have felt that church needed to take on a different form… providing more help for #re-storing our lives. Not just telling us what to do, actually helping us do it!!

Please don’t ever think that you are different and that your life can’t be used to help others. I pray for you today that a belief is being imparted in you just from hearing my story and you can stop waiting and start do-ing and even #re-do-ing if you have to.

Little baby steps is what it takes to get something accomplished! We need help to get rolling sometimes! I have reached out for ALL kinds of help in every way!! We can’t do it alone!!

I offer 2 free phone calls until the end of May if you need some encouragement to get a plan to get rolling!

You are unique… your call is not like mine!

Belief comes from hearing!

Get help if you need it!

We can’t do everything alone!

We have to get out of our comfort zone!

We need strategy, perseverance and new mindsets!

Surrender your past and get #restored!

I am cheering you on, but you have to take the ACTION!!

See you soon!❤️

The #Re-words!

I LOVE all of the Re-words!! Every year I have some friends come over at the beginning of the year and we make Vision Boards! I love this and it really does help birth your visions and dreams.

This year I put several Re-words on my Vision Board!! When I’m putting these things I really don’t know why I am putting them but the things start coming and I put them down! Here is my Vision Board from this year:

As you can see around the middle I put many re-words…I LOVE things that get second chances! Restore is the first re-word and I love to be a part of anything getting restored!! I have been a hairdresser for years and love to #Restore people’s hair! Now I am a part of #Restoring people’s lives!

When I wrote all these words I didn’t realize that we would plow in and be #restoring so many things in our home but wow it has taken off and it is so fun and exciting!! I notice I also put the word Creativity on the bottom and that has really taken off too!!

To the right a little above the middle I put “new furniture” real small and I really had no clue that would be happening and it’s all over the place already!! New and refurbished! Wow this is fun! We just have to let our Vision be known! Things start being drawn to us! Even new restored strength and energy!

Now let’s get real…. all these wonderful things are not happening without opposition along the way! Y’all know that, right? Let’s talk about that now! Over the time that we have started we had a little granddaughter that needed major surgery. We have seriously had so many deaths all around us in the last two months that I have lost count. Many of these people were immediate family members. Marty even did one of the funerals. Along with all of this, we watch two little granddaughters ages 1 & 3 every Friday. We have had to trade and switch that around because of so many funerals.

I also had on my Vision Board…small community groups. These are from my church! Yes the first week we tore into the kitchen remodel was the week they started. Forget about them coming to a clean house in order, right? But it’s still progress and it’s still all moving forward. We have now finished the 8th week of small group and have never had to miss a meeting. Also included in this mix was a stomach virus for Marty and I both.

So…what I’m saying is, don’t think that these things easily just fell in my lap! I’m not used to things being easy though so that’s a good thing!

Also in my Vision Board I put exercise and healthy diet. I have managed to get on a simple exercise routine and eating healthier! I’ve missed a few days but the exercise and writing ( also on Vision Board) fit in first thing in the morning (unless I have a stomach bug) so I don’t evade doing it!

The momentum to do all this and not lose it or give up has been nothing short of a miracle though and I think that’s because it is written down! Not to mention my 91 year old mama just texted me back, “Ok!” We are trying to decide whether to take her to hospital for X-ray or not because she fell on her tailbone… she thinks it’s getting better!❤️

In the meantime, my brother has my 96 year old dad living with him now and they have both had their wives pass away in the last two months. Whoa!!

I’m glad the word Focus is on the board also because that is what I’m doing and what I have always learned to do! You know I could throw many, many more things into the mix of things but just thought I’d give you a highlight!

The little granddaughter did not have to have the surgery!! Woo hoo! Her body seems to be Restoring as she is going along!

I will get back out to help Marty with the refurbishing of our furniture! I will send pics to you all after it’s finished!

I encourage you to make a Vision Board!! It helps you stay Focused on your goals and dreams! Remember when people act like everything comes easy peasy they are just lying… that’s all! But it can still can happen! All of it can fit!!

You should see how sly I’ve had to be in here writing while Marty is out there doing all the work! Gotta go!

You can do it!

Revamp!

Restore!

Reconstruct!

Redo!

Reset!

You are RELEASED!

See you soon with pics!!❤️

Connections…

Hello…just sharing today about connections. We are not supposed to walk arm in arm with just everyone…not because we don’t like them, simply because we aren’t traveling on the same path. We can actually go through something quite uncomfortable to make us #Shift back into the path we are supposed to be on.

How many times have you felt this? We can’t take everything personal and be hurt by closed doors! Usually closed doors are for our benefit! Of course it has to sting for a little while to get our attention… but we have to work through those things.

There are several things to work through when we encounter these situations:

1. Was there an unhealthy soul tie there that needs to be broken and cleaned up?

2. Were there any word curses or bad things spoken about us or that we may have spoken about others? We need to get our heart cleaned up from any hurts from this.

3. Any things that we are believing about ourselves that are simply not true? We have to concentrate on the truth about us and our gifts, calling, and purpose!

4. We can’t beat ourselves up if we do make a mistake! Just learn every lesson you can from that mistake!

If you haven’t read my book #shift Happens… here is the link to it…

I am now writing the 3rd book that will be speaking about many of these same things!

If you need to have a 30 minute coffee chat for direction simply reply back to me!!

I am cheering you on for your dreams to come true!!

I want to help you beat distractions!!

I want to help you get UNSTUCK and out of old patterns!!

Time to move forward!!

See you soon!!❤️❤️❤️
