Reclaiming in 2020

“Reclaim” is my word for this year and it’s fun to watch as the little things start coming about. Reclaim means to retrieve or recover. It also means to cultivate.

We can see that it is a new season for us. Things are shifting and changing. It’s been over a year since we moved on from “Agape House” a ministry helping kids in a small town near us. They come in on Wednesdays after school, get fed a meal, and have a worship. It’s a great place and God has helped many troubled kids that have come through the doors.

It was time for other things for us at and we went and got trained in Texas and also got freedom for ourselves in Texas from life traumas and hurts that we’ve been through.

After I heard Terri Savelle Foy’s Youtube video the earlier this week, I knew that I needed to vamp up my exercise program, I was starting to lag a bit.

We just got a new Planet Fitness in our area and Marty and I decided to stop procrastinating and go join. We went in and did just that!

What I have seen is that when I take a drastic action, things start flowing in. The next day I got a text that someone from Agape House wanted to meet and talk to us. We had all kinds of thoughts and were real curious about it.

Finally the day came to talk to them and they presented their need. A young boy 13 is in need, he needs someone to come alongside of him and just “love” him. Yes we can do that! We thought we would have to pray and think about what they needed us to do, but, “Yes!” What a blessing and an honor to be approached with this.

This is where my word Reclaim comes into play. This place is a place that is very dear to my heart. We get to go back and reclaim some territory there.

Any seeds that we sow are never wasted. Even any seeds we sow into our own lives are never wasted in helping other lives. I love the way it works. When we make a move to get out of our own stuck place and it leads to getting others unstuck every time! It’s not all about us it’s about helping others!

Let’s try to get ourselves in a strong place so we can help others! Think about your word for this year… have you picked one? How can it line up with your superpower?

Can’t make this stuff up!

It’s so fun!

You can do this too!

See you soon!

Peace

After speaking about FOMO I came to some terms;

This is a place where we are a lot. Especially if we experience lots of change, which I have. I sat down yesterday and journaled and prayed about some things and actually contacted some of the people that I hadn’t seen or talked to in a while. Much to my surprise I got some wonderful replies back. The relationships are still there, it has just changed, for now. Change can be hard but it’s also good and causes growth.

One thing that never changes is my Heavenly Father’s love for me, He’s always there.

As I journaled, all of the i’s got dotted and the t’s got crossed. The answers to questions were answered and the reasons for why were understood. Amazing peace came to me that money can’t buy and nothing else can compare to.

Things got placed in proper perspective and some of the losses I was feeling were actually gain of something new. Anything that we experience has a silver lining if we still ourselves, listen, find our thoughts, and journal.

People seem to be running from this still place. Finding every which way to fill up those questions we have, with whatever we can find, besides sitting down to stillness, pondering and facing what is going on.

Are we afraid to face what is real? Are we afraid that the outcome won’t be good? The only way the outcome is not good is if we try to control. We are not in control. When we let go is when we get free.

I’m grateful that I am a right brain person. That’s the side of the brain that goes with the flow. Even left brain people can become more right brain. It comes from the things I mentioned before; still ourselves, listen, find our thoughts, and journal. That’s it, that’s what I’m learning how to prompt people to do.

It has always helped me and I know it helps others. People just need a little help doing it, especially left brain people because they are always planning and trying to work things out. Not lots of spontaneity and flow in their lives.

Feelings are ok too, by the way. Feelings are great, even if they hurt. They are really there and they need to be acknowledged and dealt with so they don’t show up and hinder us in other ways.

If you feel the need, we love to help people sort out some of these things. We offer free half hour sessions to help you find freedom from what’s tripping you up. Also if you would like to read more, my ebook is now $.99 on Amazon

FOMO

I’ve been hearing lots about this FOMO. First I had to look it up, I thought it was similar to BOGO…. but not so much.

From what I’ve seen FOMO is about fear of missing out of something that is on social media. Wow that is something that didn’t exist when I was younger. We didn’t even know some of the other things that were going on. I know there have been days where I’ve been invited so many different directions that I could get sad thinking I was not able to go to everything.

I have had to seriously realize that I do not have to be involved in everything that is going on and I do not have to be close friends with Everyone. It is literally impossible. I don’t put lots of things on my FB timeline because I don’t like people feeling left out! I know that’s probably just as insane as seeing things posted and feeling left out.

The truth is, that because of things and places that I have had to let go of, sometimes I see what certain groups of people are doing, I feel sad and left out. I have had to go through a season of knowing who my tribe is and not feeling bad if that is not Everyone.

This means that “what you are all about” attracts your tribe. Which also means if they are not attracted to what you are all about, then they aren’t your tribe. We can have lots of acquaintances but your tribe is your tribe. The ones that you don’t have to change yourself for to fit in! The ones that you feel at home with.

I am thankful that the people from my tribe are encouraging because I have had to go through a quiet time to be able to create. You could almost feel isolated if you don’t have a few people contacting you cheering you on! I hope that you all have people like that! It’s way more important for me to have that than a large gathering of people where I can’t seem to fit.

This morning someone from my tribe called me and said there are many 3 leaf clovers but people are always looking for the 4 leaf clovers… those are the ones that are different and unique. There haven’t been a whole lot of places that I just fit into easily so I’ve finally seen that when I find it, I don’t have to keep trying to follow the crowd or find where I fit. We just can’t be everywhere and we just can’t please everyone and if we don’t it’s ok…. we will please someone!

I’m glad to be here creating content that I’m created to do, and if I get a little wounded I know how to work on a heart wound or I know how to not have false expectations from others… I just be grateful of my tribe and I just bloom where I am planted!

Find your tribe!

They are the best!

They aren’t everywhere!

But they are there!

You deserve it!

Don’t give up until you do!

See you soon!

Stepping into the new…

We had our vision board gathering and it was a fabulous birthing of dreams and new goals for the year ahead. It’s not just a bunch of hype to me, it’s the real deal!

As much as we’ve been sowing into others, I need some watering coming back to me. I got on a new course and it is so encouraging and inspiring to me.

We can never stop learning and growing. I am on a course Vision 101 with Terry Savelle Foy and in the first module we quiet ourselves everyday for 21 days and just imagine. This is bringing such momentum for me. And it goes right along with our vision boards.

It takes some action on our part to bring momentum and change into our lives! Already, halfway into the 21 days, I’m already getting the plan and dream coming to me about a course that we will be offering. I encourage you to take time to sit down and dream and journal your thoughts. There are special seeds in all of us that need to be watered to sprout and grow into big dreams and goals and plans.

These seeds are in EVERYONE! Not just a few people. Once we start taking some new action, it starts a spark in us to move in a little different direction. A freshness, a newness takes place and we become unstuck!

If it’s going to be, it is up to us to make the decision for change and do it. Small baby steps can produce big results! Dream big and find the ways to step toward these dreams! I’m coming up with more stories everyday about the way that when I write things down it comes forth!

You can do it to!

Try it for 21 days!

5 minutes of quiet to journal what you imagine!

It’s not crazy, it’s real!

More things coming!

See you soon!

Vision Board 2020

Today is the day at the Healing House that we are having our annual Vision Board Party! I bought several foam poster boards from Dollar Tree, throwing some snacks together, and it’s turned into a tradition!

This isn’t just a lot of hype for me, this is the real deal. If you’ve been around here for a while you know that I’ve been getting more into meditation and hearing the Father’s voice. I think in the times we live in, it’s good to hear straight from Him. We can’t trust the news media, we need to hear from our heart!

I have seen that many people have a hard time quieting themselves down to hear that still, small voice. The Bible says, “My sheep will hear my voice and they will not listen to the voice of a stranger.” I believe that is true, that’s why I’m helping people do just that! I am in a course this year with Terry Savelle Foy and this is what she says:

This sums it up! The Father has planted things in all of us, we just have to be able to see it with the eyes of our heart! Some people are real “left brain” people and that’s hard, but we can learn how to be “right brain” and listen from our heart. That’s what I am here to do, help people hear from their heart!

My word for this year is Reclaim, because I am reclaiming things that have been stolen. I’ve had many dreams that have been stolen, and ideas. My voice was stolen for a time, and it has been restored. I have seen huge things happen because of writing out the vision and seeing the things drawn to me.

I will be sending pictures to you and letting you see what we do. My last book gets a little more in depth about it and I will be sending a free daily meditation to help you get jump started on hearing the Father speaking to you! I am in the process of designing that now.

Any questions, please let me know. I would love to help you. Your purpose is so important and your dreams are too. Some of the biggest things created on our planet started with a dream. That dream was put there by our Father, a loving, caring Father that wants only the best for us! You deserve the best! You are worth it!

You can do it too!

We are all designed for success!

It only takes a decision!

Believe what your heart tells you!

Let’s start!

See you soon!
