Happy Honest Saturday

Sharing some honest thoughts today.

People pleasing is something that I have dealt with my whole life. Mainly because I am a merciful person.

Have you ever just sat down and been very honest about some character flaws that you may have?

I have been very blessed to be part of a recovery group, Al Anon, which is for families of addicts.

I’m so grateful because understanding these things can help us healed from them.

Honesty about ourselves, others and our lives can bring us such freedom and joy.

I’ve written a few books about this and I’m starting another.

Boundaries can help in all relationships and boundaries are a little difficult for people pleasers.

I worked on that many years and have learned to conquer… I’ve learned many tools to help conquer many different things. Of course these things are not just for families of addicts! More to come…

I shall return!!

See you then!

Happy Day!

Well let’s just say that I may be shoved out of my comfort zone a little bit! I am in a writing school called Punchy Books which encouraged us to get on Substack!

Have any of you heard of it? I’m spending lots of time playing around with it and figuring it out! I think in the long run it will be good … but for today… not feeling it yet!

It’s ok, how many things are like that in our life? We don’t see the use or reason behind why we are doing it, then on a surprising day it shows up!

NOTHING that we do is wasted! It’s like sowing seeds, they will eventually produce a harvest.

Little by little with patience and persistence new things birth through! Just like having a baby, little by little it is being produced and then born!

That means we got this, right? Our Father in heaven is moving everything forward and creating things. We can’t do it ourselves without HIS help!

So, I will do my part, He will do His part, and together things will fall right into place where they need to be!

Have you experienced anything that you are going through that is shoving you out of your comfort zone?

✨Keep sowing those seeds!

✨Papa 👆🏻 has this!

✨Don’t give up!

✨See you soon!!

Rise Up!

Well that was my word for this year! I have been very quiet this year and sorting through emotions from the last three years! I have been gradually “rising up” in some ways behind the scenes but until today wasn’t ready to share!

Last year began with water flowing through our house when we got home from vacation in March! you might as well say that we rebuilt the whole first floor of our house. Then when it was getting on its way to be finished, the end of September, we took a trip to North Carolina and on down to a Marriage Retreat in Orlando.

While in North Carolina a hurricane came through Florida which destroyed our family’s whole area. We were going to be heading down there after the retreat but of course it didn’t happen. We stayed in the northern part of Florida and came on home.

We still had work to do when we got home and basically picked up the pieces. Just a few months later we had our tenth grand baby, a little boy named Oscar Everette, or Ozzie. What a sweet little boy!

When we have floods, hurricanes, new babies, and all the other things that happen in between we just have to sit down a minute and sort things out! I’m sure you know what I mean!

❤️💜❤️

It just has to take it’s course and sometimes we just have to wait. We have to wait five months for the word we picked for the year in January to start making some sense. I am finally “rising up” and it’s finally a new day and new things are breaking through!

We’ve still been doing the things on our path, but as far as creating or moving forward with the things I had started, the brakes were on, until now!

• Good to see you today!

• Glad to be “Rising Up!”

• Don’t give up in quiet times!

• You got this!

• See ya soon!

Break the boxes!

You’ve heard the saying, “You weren’t created to fit in, you were born to stand out!” Well, from what I’ve experienced the only way we can get there is to walk through tough things.

Those tough things take us right out of the boxes that we are in. Those tough places change EVERYTHING! It changes our comfort zone, it changes our relationships, it may make us stronger and bolder, it may make us calm down and be quieter.

Whatever change needs to happen seems to happen in tough situations. Have you learned to not run from tough things in your life? To accept them as part of the formation that you are supposed to be walking through?

If we were born in a hard family, maybe it was meant to be. If we were in a hard marriage that even ended in divorce just maybe that was part of our story to shape who we are today.

Every hard thing can be restored and renewed! Anything is redeemable. Isn’t that a wonderful miracle? That’s great news! Our story is very valuable and can change lives!

Sometimes suffering can even bring protection. These words that I’m speaking are tough to listen to and accept. We could be heading completely off in a wrong direction and God can see the whole picture in our lives. Consequences in life can put the skids on us to stop, wake up, and get on track in certain ways.

Maybe we are taking people for granted, maybe we are wearing ourselves out, maybe we need to be closer to God and hear His voice. Obstacles in our life can guide and direct us to get all of these things lined out.

Marty and I love to help people with these hard places! We love to help people be on track in their lives and go the right direction. Contact us for a free session to help get the right perspective for your life and destiny.

Your story is worth sharing and helping others change. There are so many hurting in our world today that need help. Stop hiding and let your light shine in dark places.

•Break the Box that you are in and help others Break their Box!!

•Get clarity in your destiny!

•Receive healing in your heart!

•Love to all!

See you soon! jill 🌸

Turn it around!

Well we crossed over into February… it’s feeling so much better in 2022! I actually plunged into another company “Color Street” and making my mom’s and my nails so, so pretty! I have this fetish about success stories and companies that started with nothing and made it big!

Even all these mamas in America that were able to stay home and take care of their families because of these companies! So much wisdom is to be heard from these ladies and the sisterhoods that have helped them all along the way. I joined Mary Kay when my children were young and I was going through a divorce…it gave me something to hope for and enjoy and take my mind off of negativity. That was years ago… so much wisdom from these ladies!

I joined Lemongrass Spa natural Bath and Body and Skincare right in the middle of the pandemic! It sent me all these luxurious products during quarantine and all the other calamities last year. I had a spa event at my house once a month and got together with women! We supported each other!

I joined Color Street after my mom got better from a fall and we both needed a pick me up to look forward to, while she has been recovering! It’s been fun! These things and the success stories actually give women something to dream about again!

My mom actually did have a dream the night before I did her nails and dreamed she was going to a ball with a big, red dress and her beautiful nails! If we hadn’t been doing that she wouldn’t have dreamed that!

Marty is back to himself now and has the kitchen in our upstairs finished and we have decided on the other side of the upstairs to make the whole area full of beds and sleeping for as many as we can and a bath for retreats! I have had this dream my whole life!

I remember when I had a salon many, many years ago and I rented the whole building. I would go in the upstairs and just picture it being a place for women to come and retreat and get pampered! I had no one to help me build and I had no extra money! I was young and had such big dreams!

I would have a gathering every once in a while and gather women and have lunch together! We would encourage each other and build each other up! But it wasn’t time yet… I had to wait many more years and go through many more things! I’ve jumped in and joined anything I could in my path and created anything I could to bring me to this day!

My last book “Restored to Bloom” talks about sowing seeds to reap a harvest. That’s what I’ve been doing. Making lemonade out of lemons! Doing little things to help people’s lives come up higher! Any little thing I can!

That dream is being rekindled again! God is providing divine connections to help and enjoy this dream with me! Really? How can it all turn around so quickly? This Saturday having a vision board gathering! It’s snowing like a blizzard and all schools and businesses shut down today, which is Thursday!

Whoever can be here will be here! It’s not about how many… it’s about that one little person, that one little heart that needs to be healed! Jesus left the ninety nine and would go after the one! I will make some soup and Brigid bringing the veggies and if it is just us two or even just me I will put my vision on a board for God to see!

It’s about our hearts and our faith! It’s about our Father making a road in the wilderness! It’s about Him making a way where there is “No Way.” He is the “Waymaker!” He has done unbelievable things! Just believe!

Do not give up!

He will make a way if you don’t give up!

He will give you double for your trouble!

He’s not mad at you!

You are worth it!

See you soon!
